Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

At Monroe, the President's List comprises full-time students who have completed and excelled in their coursework, earning a grade point average between 3.80 and 4.00 over the course of the semester.

Last month, Monroe College's National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) chapter welcomed 62 new members at an induction celebration held on the College's Bronx campus. The students' family members were on hand to applaud the new inductees. NSLS is the nation's largest leadership honor society, with 664 chapters, and 1,031,867 members nationwide. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Through NSLS, members learn to pursue their personal and professional goals while also learning important leadership skills. Additionally, the chapter honored three staff and faculty members for their commitment to NSLS. Dr. Donald Simon was presented with the Honorary Membership Award, Professor Bruce Wigutow was presented with the Excellence in Teaching Award, and Maria Ortiz from the Office of Continuing Student Services was presented with the Excellence in Service to Students Award.

The Monroe College School of Business and Accounting recently held its induction ceremony for the Delta Mu Delta International Honor Society in Business. Twenty-six accomplished undergraduate and graduate students were inducted into the College's chapter. Delta Mu Delta is a business honor society that recognizes and encourages academic excellence of students at qualifying colleges and universities to create a community that fosters the well-being of its individual members and the business community through life-time membership. Undergraduate inductees into Delta Mu Delta must have a minimum of 3.5 GPA and be part of the top 10% of their class; graduate inductees must have a minimum of 3.8 GPA and be part of the top 10% of their class. All Monroe College inductees this year had a GPA of 3.86 or higher.
